Keynote Main Stage: Global 4G Mobile Movement towards Mobile Internet Era

Abstract: As China is going for 4G industry, will China follow 3GPP's LTE or ITU IMT-Advanced? Yes or No ! For China's domestic markets, China will definitely work on its own 4G standards. However, for international markets, China will continue follow the 3GPP, ITU, IEEE, etc to support international exports of China 4G solutions. How to save energy in switching, transmission, cooling, powering and operating are the most important issues in Green 4G movement.

Executive Parallel Panels (3): China 4G Mobile Services and Network Optimization

Abstract: China has about 600 million mobile users, and the mobile service fees are pretty low which helps push the new services and applications through the mobile device platforms. The China 4G services can go much beyond the traditional communications which will be widely used in e-GOV applications accounting for over $800B by year 2020. In addition, mobile network optimization remains one of the key issues in the 4G era because the multiple converged networks need to work together to maximize the network performance and the spectrum utilization. The industry leaders will debate key issues for this emerging business and share the solutions for building the team and developing the China 4G business.
