Transition from 3G to 4G: China is Leading the World !
Abstract: China is rolling out the 3G networks nationwide. But 3G is not a long-term strategy of China. All mobile operators have been instructed to consider 4G smooth transition by year 2012 based on central government's strategic order. The China 4G is fully focused on the converged solutions of 3G, LTE, WiFi and WiMax, etc. Together with China government, 4GMF will lead the industry to define China's 4G solutions and build China's 4G business.

Fourth Generation Mobile
Forum (4GMF) - China Ready for Green 4G Technology
Day Two - October 14th, 2009 in Shanghai, China
Abstract: As China is going for 4G
industry, will China follow 3GPP's LTE or ITU IMT-Advanced?
Yes or No ! For China's domestic markets, China will
definitely work on its own 4G standards. However, for
international markets, China will continue follow the
3GPP, ITU, IEEE, etc to support international exports of
China 4G solutions.
How to help China in defining and
creating the right technology for both domestic and
international markets is the critical issue in this
Keynote session.

Energy-Efficient Green 4G Networks and Infrastructure !
Abstract: China 4G is defined as the
converged solutions of 3G, WiFi, LTE, WiMax, etc for the
China market. Therefore, the network optimization and
energy optimization are critical for the upcoming 4G
infrastructures. 4G energy efficiency includes the green
data-centers, base-stations, mobile switching centers,
towers and backhaul infrastructures. How to save energy
in switching, transmission, cooling, powering and
operating are the most important issues in Green 4G
movement.

China 4G Mobile Services and
Network Optimization
Abstract: China has about 600 million mobile users, and
the mobile service fees are pretty low which helps push
the new services and applications through the mobile
device platforms. The China 4G services can go much
beyond the traditional communications which will be
widely used in e-GOV applications accounting for over
$800B by year 2020. In addition, mobile network
optimization remains one of the key issues in the 4G era
because the multiple converged networks need to work
together to maximize the network performance and the
spectrum utilization. The industry
leaders will debate key issues for this emerging
business and share the solutions for building the team
and developing the China 4G business.
